1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using www.peterkagunda.com (“the Website”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Website.

2. Services

I, Peter Kagunda, offer web development services as a freelancer/contractor. The scope of services, timelines, and pricing will be agreed upon in writing before the commencement of any project.

3. Payment

Payment terms will be outlined in the project agreement. A deposit may be required before the start of the project, and the remaining balance will be due upon completion of the project or as specified in the agreement. Alternatively, for certain projects, an agreed hourly rate may be applicable. In such cases, I reserve the right to bill you for the hours worked, and payment will be due upon receipt of the invoice after the work is completed.

4. Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment, the client will own the intellectual property rights to the developed website, excluding any pre-existing elements or third-party components. I retain the right to showcase the project in my portfolio and use it for self-promotion.

5. Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for providing all necessary materials, including content, images, and any other relevant information, unless otherwise agreed upon. Timely feedback and approvals are essential for project progress.

6. Revisions and Additional Work

Any revisions or additional work beyond the scope of the agreed-upon project will be subject to additional charges. These will be communicated and agreed upon by both parties in writing.

7. Confidentiality

I will treat all information provided by the client as confidential and will not disclose it to third parties unless required by law. The client agrees to keep any confidential information shared by me in the same manner.

8. Termination of Services

Either party may terminate the services with written notice if the other party breaches any material term of these terms and fails to remedy the breach within 14 days of receiving notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

I shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or incidental damages arising out of or related to the services provided, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.

11. Changes to Terms

I reserve the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. It is the client’s responsibility to review these terms periodically.
